Applying for a place at Amington Heath

 

We welcome visits from anyone considering an education at Amington Heath Primary School.
Please contact the school office to make an appointment.

 

Nursery

Children can start at Amington Heath any time after their second birthday.

Think2 or three year old funding starts the term after the child’s birthday.

If your child is born between:

  • 1 January – 31 March, funded places can start in the summer term (from 1 April)
  • 1 April – 31 August, funded places can start in the autumn term (from 1 September)
  • 1 September – 31 December, funded places can start in the spring term (from 1 January

Primary

Reception Admissions September 2024

Children starting school in Reception, start the September following their 4th birthday. Therefore, you can apply for a place at Amington Heath in September 2024, if your child’s fifth birthday is between 1 September 2024 and 31 August 2025

Applications for Reception in September 2024 are open from 1st November 2023 to 15th January 2024.  You can apply online by following this link

Should you be new to the area or considering moving your child for another reason, please contact the school office to discuss the availability of places in other year groups.
